Squirrel and Deer BGM

Hello, readers! Today I’ll present you a bedtime story. It’s about a kind and cute girl who adventures a forest and turned into a squirrel!

Here’s the story begin…

By the time I was thirteen, I was told by some tale teller…

Once upon a time, when the earth wasn’t as polluted as now, lived a family. They consist of Father, Mother, and the only daughter, Inara. Inara was very cheerful and kind girl, she’s always made her parents happy. Of course, they loved each other. Father was a hard working farmer. He could turn a seed into a delicious corn. Mother was a beautiful woman. She’s an expert of cooking, cleaning, and she provided warmth to her husband and daughter.

Someday, Inara told her mother she wanted to go to the forest. Mother asked Father, and they said it’s OK. Inara was so happy, she told her parents not to worry. She’ll be okay, she said. She’s prepared, with a box of meals from her mother, and an amulet from his father. “It’s for your happiness, dear”, said Father.

Inara waved her parents, and entering the forest swiftly. “Na na na na na”, she hummed some cute sounds, anything that could make her happy. She went deep into the forest. Minutes after, she saw a house, incredibly made from chocolate. For your info, Inara loves chocolate very much.

She ran to the chocolate house. She touched the house. She smelled it. And then she licked the chocolate. “Yummy!” she said. She kept eating the chocolate house until the house owner opened the door. She’s an old hag, a witch. The witch screamed, “What Are YOU doing!?”. Inara was freaked out! She’s so scared. “You ate MY house!!” You MUST pay for this, girl!!” the witch scold Inara.

Inara ran away from the witch, but the witch managed to catch up with Inara. She touched Inara with a spell, a curse. Then the witch laughed, “NYA HAHAHAHA!! Curse YOU, dear girl..” and went back home.

Inara was very frightened and exhausted. She decided to sleep.

Morning came, she woke up. She noticed the trees were larger, and the grass were as tall as her. She confused, she thought she still in her dream. Then, she search for a water to drink. She found a river. She approached it and then surprised. “AAAAAAAAAAH! What’s wrong with my face? My body?” she asked. She washed her face, hoping that this was just a dream. But nothing’s changed. She turned into a squirrel.

She cried a lot. She couldn’t find a way to home. She’s lost. Then, she met a deer. She told him, she was once a human. That deer then know she was cursed by the witch. She asked him to escort her to her house. But the deer couldn’t do that unless Inara showed him the way. Inara knew she couldn’t, she was too small to see the path ahead. He offered to help Inara fight the witch, so she could turn into human again. She agreed.

They rushed back to the chocolate house. They shouted to call the witch. But the witch never responded. Suddenly, Inara found a way to summon the witch. She ate the chocolate. The deer helped her to eat the chocolate. Seconds after, their wish to summon the witch granted. The witch was very upset, proven by her ugly red face and slant eyes sharply looked at them. The witch threw fireballs at them. Luckily, they managed to dodge. The deer came up with an idea. He told Inara the idea, it’s to eat the chocolate house until the witch turns her into human again.

While dodging the fireballs and other granny magician attacks, Inara the Squirrel leapt into the rooftop and then started to eat it. The deer eat one by one block of chocolate while running. The witch was exhausted. She could only watch her house being eaten by an agile squirrel and a hasty deer. She could not attack them.

Then, the witch cried, and plead to them. “Please, *sob* I’ll do anything to make you stop eating my house”, said the witch. The deer stopped eating the chocolates, so did Inara. Inara winked at the deer and said, “Make me human again! I wanna go home and see my family”. “Of course…Of course…I’m sorry I cursed you back,then…”.

With some spell, the witch lifted the curse. The squirrel, Inara, turned back into human again. Surprisingly, the deer turned back into human, too! “Oh, boy! You’re also a human, just like me!” Inara surprised. “Yes, I was. And I am know. I never tried to fight the witch because I don’t have family. Who’s gonna take care of me if I turned back to human again? I’m happy to live as a deer”. The boy replied.

“You can live with me, with my family”, Inara told him. “If you don’t mind…” the Deer answered. “Hoooray!” Inara was so happy, she had a new friend, new member of the family. Then, they went back home.

“Umm…deer?”

“Yes?”

“Can you tell me, who’s your name?”

“Oops, my! My name…hmm…long time no one called my name…I’ve to remember it first…hmm…”
”Well…?”

“I remember now! My name’s Kea, nice to meet you :)”

Smiled together and lived happily ever after
